01 Overview
The short version
This website is a static corporate presence. It has no accounts, no forms, no comment fields, no newsletter, and no advertising. We set no cookies, run no analytics, and operate no tracking, profiling, remarketing, fingerprinting, or session-recording of any kind. Every part of the site — text, images, styles, scripts, and typefaces — is served from amolira.com itself. We do not collect or retain personal information about visitors through this website.
This policy describes the limited circumstances in which personal information may nonetheless be handled — chiefly by our hosting provider, and when you choose to email us — and how we deal with it.
Amolira Pty. Ltd. may fall within the small business exemption in section 6D of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We nonetheless handle personal information in accordance with that Act and the Australian Privacy Principles, and treat this policy as binding on us.
02 What We Collect
Almost nothing
Through this website itself, we collect nothing. There is no form to complete, no account to create, and no script that reports your behaviour back to us.
Personal information reaches us in only two ways:
- Server logs, generated automatically by our hosting provider when your browser requests a page. These are held by that provider, not by us, and are described in section 04.
- Email, when you choose to write to us. Described in section 05.
We do not collect sensitive information as defined in section 6 of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We do not buy, sell, rent, or trade personal information; we do not build profiles of visitors; and we do not use personal information for automated decision-making.
Anonymity. You may read this site without identifying yourself, and you may correspond with us under a pseudonym, although we may then be unable to respond fully or verify who you are.
04 Hosting & Third Parties
Who else your browser talks to
This website is served by Firebase Hosting, a service operated by Google. In the ordinary course of serving web traffic, Google's infrastructure may automatically log technical information about requests (such as IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, and the pages requested) for security, abuse-prevention, and operational purposes. That data is processed by Google under its own privacy documentation. Amolira does not access, export, enrich, or use it to identify visitors.
Beyond our own servers, your browser contacts nobody. Every asset this site uses, including its typefaces, is served from amolira.com. There are no third-party components of any kind: no hosted fonts, no embedded video or maps, no chat widgets, no social media embeds, no comment system, no tag manager, and no scripts or stylesheets loaded from a content delivery network. Opening a page of this site tells no one but us and our host that you did.
The single exception is the status page, which checks from your own browser whether our services are reachable. That check sends a plain request to our own subdomain, app.amolira.com. It reveals nothing about you beyond what any web request necessarily reveals, and we do not record the result.
Overseas disclosure. Two providers handle information on our behalf, and each may store and process it on servers outside Australia, including in the United States: Google, which hosts this website, and Microsoft, which provides our email. We do not control their processing. See Google's Privacy Policy and Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
05 Correspondence
When you email us
If you write to us, for example at contact@amolira.com, we receive your email address, anything you include in your message, and standard email metadata. We use that information solely to read and, where warranted, respond to your correspondence, and to keep a record of it.
Our email is provided by Microsoft. Messages you send us are therefore stored and processed on Microsoft's systems under its privacy terms, in the same way your own provider handles the mail you send.
We do not add correspondents to any mailing list, and we send no marketing or commercial electronic messages. We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it to third parties except our service providers, or where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
06 Security & Retention
How we hold it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. This site is served only over HTTPS, and access to our correspondence is limited to those within Amolira who need it.
We keep correspondence only for as long as it remains relevant to the matter it concerns or is required to be kept by law, after which we destroy or de-identify it. You may ask us to delete your correspondence sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
If an eligible data breach affecting personal information we hold were to occur, we would assess it promptly and, where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies, notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
07 Access & Complaints
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@amolira.com or to our registered office at Suite No. 1847, 17 Gould Road, Herston QLD 4006, Australia. We do not charge for such a request, and we will respond within 30 days. In most cases the answer will be: only the emails you have sent us.
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please raise it with us first at the same address. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Visitors outside Australia. This site is directed at no particular jurisdiction, and we neither target nor monitor visitors abroad. If you are outside Australia and wish to exercise a right available to you under your own law, write to us and we will deal with your request in good faith.
08 Changes
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this address, with the date of the last update shown at the top of the page. Where a change is material, we will say so here. Earlier versions are available on request.
