AML & CTF
Amolira Pty. Ltd. trades its own capital on its own account and holds no money belonging to others, so Australia's anti-money laundering regime does not apply to it. We hold the position set out below as a matter of policy rather than obligation.

01 Our Status
Not a reporting entity
Amolira Pty. Ltd. is not a reporting entity under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), and is not enrolled with AUSTRAC.
Obligations under that Act attach to a person who provides a designated service of a kind listed in section 6. Every such service is something provided to another person. Amolira provides none of them. It trades its own capital on its own account; it holds no money, assets, or accounts for anyone else; it has no clients, members, or investors; it accepts no outside capital; and it does not sell, license, or otherwise provide access to Nexus or any other system it builds.
The Act was substantially amended by the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Amendment Act 2024 (Cth), which reformed the obligations of existing reporting entities and extended the regime to additional sectors, with reforms commencing in 2026, including real estate, legal and accounting services, trust and company service providers, and dealers in precious metals and stones. None of those sectors describes what Amolira does, and our position is unchanged.
Nothing on this page should be read as a claim that Amolira holds an Australian financial services licence, is supervised by AUSTRAC or ASIC, or is authorised to deal with anyone else's money or financial products. It is none of those things and does not seek to be. Anyone telling you otherwise is not us — see our fraud and impersonation notice.
02 Standing Position
Our operating standards
Being outside a regime is not a reason to behave as though financial crime were someone else's problem. The following is how the company operates, as a matter of its own policy rather than statutory obligation.
- Source of funds. All capital the company deploys is its own: contributed by its shareholders from their own lawful resources, or retained from its own earnings. No third party's money enters the business at any point.
- Counterparties. We transact only through licensed and regulated venues, brokers, exchanges, and financial institutions, each of which performs its own customer due diligence on us. We do not transact through unregulated intermediaries, informal value transfer channels, or services designed to obscure the origin or ownership of funds.
- No cash. The company neither accepts nor makes payments in physical cash.
- Records. We keep records of our transactions and of the accounts through which they pass, sufficient to reconstruct them.
- Transparency of control. The company's directors and its registered office are a matter of public record with ASIC, searchable against ACN 694 701 409. Its ownership and control are not obscured through nominee or layered structures.
03 Sanctions
A regime that does apply
Australian sanctions law is not limited to reporting entities. It binds every person and body corporate in Australia, whatever their business, and Amolira is subject to it in full.
We comply with the sanctions regimes administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade: United Nations Security Council sanctions given effect through the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 (Cth), and Australian autonomous sanctions under the Autonomous Sanctions Act 2011 (Cth) and the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011.
In practice that means we do not deal with a person or entity named on the Consolidated List maintained by DFAT, do not deal with assets we know or suspect to be owned or controlled by such a person, and do not transact in a sanctioned sector or with a sanctioned place where a dealing would be prohibited. Where a dealing would require a sanctions permit from the Australian Sanctions Office, we would not proceed without one.
04 What We Never Do
We never handle third-party funds
Because Amolira works only on its own account, there is no circumstance in which it would:
· accept, hold, pool, manage, invest, or transfer money or assets belonging to anyone else;
· act as a conduit, nominee, trustee, or intermediary for another person's funds;
· accept cash, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or any other value from a member of the public;
· open, operate, or receive funds into an account on another person's behalf;
· invoice you, or ask you to pay us, for any product, service, opportunity, fee, tax, or release of funds.
Any approach in Amolira's name that does any of these things is fraudulent, regardless of how convincing it appears or which registration details it quotes.
Impersonators frequently cite the registration numbers of real companies, including ours, to appear credible. Our fraud and impersonation notice explains how to recognise a genuine communication from us, and what to do if you have been targeted.
05 Raising a Concern
Where to take it
If you believe Amolira's name is being used in connection with money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, or any other financial crime, tell us at contact@amolira.com or legal@amolira.com. We take such reports seriously and will act on them where we can.
Please also report it to the appropriate authority, which can act where we cannot:
- AUSTRAC · Australia's anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulator.
- Australian Sanctions Office · part of DFAT, for suspected breaches of Australian sanctions.
- ReportCyber · for cyber-enabled crime and online fraud.
- Scamwatch · the National Anti-Scam Centre, for scams generally.
- The National Security Hotline on 1800 123 400, for anything touching terrorism.
- Your local police, or 000 if someone is in immediate danger.
We are under no statutory obligation to lodge a suspicious matter report, because we are not a reporting entity. If we nonetheless formed a suspicion of money laundering, terrorism financing, or sanctions evasion in the course of our own dealings, we would report it to the appropriate authority.
06 Review
Keeping this current
We reassess this position whenever our activities change or the law changes, and at least annually. The date at the top of this page is the date of the last review.
Should Amolira ever provide a designated service within the meaning of the Act, it will enrol with AUSTRAC, adopt and maintain an AML/CTF programme, and meet its obligations in full before providing that service. This page will then be replaced with one describing that programme.
